KKL-JNF Leadership Clubs were born out of true friendship and love for Israel and were founded by the friends of Uri Maimon of blessed memory, who fell in the Yom Kippur War. The vision that guided them then, and continues to lead us today, is educating a young generation connected to the land, its people, and society.
We believe the outdoors is the ultimate classroom, and a journey through nature is the most powerful way to build character. Through experiential education and real outdoor challenges, our participants discover strengths they did not know they had. They develop personal and group skills, and gain values of personal responsibility, leadership, friendship, and mutual support. The outdoors become a dynamic educational space where participants face challenges, build resilience, and gain essential life skills to handle a changing reality.
Stepping out into nature fosters a deep love for the land, builds a profound connection to its landscapes and trails, and creates meaningful encounters with the diverse human and cultural tapestry of Israeli society.
We believe that this meaningful work helps build a healthy, cohesive, and resilient nation—strengthening Zionism, bolstering personal and national fortitude, and encouraging active civic engagement.
